The work of 29 year-old Pierre Corneille, The Theatrical Illusion, is a cornerstone of the French classical repertoire, a passionate and compelling tale of life and death, of love and of illusion and reality. Marie-Louise Bischofberger makes her debut as director in the German language with this rich and powerful work, which she also translates.
