Der zerbrochne Krug

Heinrich von Kleist’s The Broken Jug is the classic German comedy, where a criminal investigation seems designed to hide the truth rather than uncover it, the accuser turns into the accused, the hunter becomes the hunted and a relatively minor breakage threatens to shatter an entire society. This production marks the Düsseldorf debut of the internationally renowned Czech director Dušan David Pařízek, founder of the Prague Chamber Theatre.
